The word BUT is defined and used to introduce something contrasting with what has already been mentioned. In this Blog I enjoy discovering how God uses the word BUT to clarify and set us straight. BUT that He LOVED us (1 John 4:14)
This is love: not that we loved God, BUT that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
