The word BUT is defined and used to introduce something contrasting with what has already been mentioned. In this Blog I enjoy discovering how God uses the word BUT to clarify and set us straight. My hope is that you will read the passage and consider the thoughts added and then add you own thoughts or challenges.

BUT... take interest in others (Phillipians 2:3-4)
Don’t be selfish; don’t
try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t
look out only for your own interests,
BUT… take an interest in
Our church had a message
on how to deal with difficult people yesterday and the #1 best approach is to
take interest in others. Far too often the problem is the “I” problem when we
put our desire above everything else. Christ command to us was to “live at
peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18)
Try it today and see how
the difficult people disappear.
