BUT the wisdom that comes from heaven (James 3:17-18)

BUT the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

James 3:17-18

When you are seeking wisdom- check it against this verse. If it is not all of these it just might not be heavenly wisdom- BUT our own selfish desires being manipulated into "wisdom"

BUT He gives more grace (James 4:6)

 BUT... 

He gives us more grace. 

That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud 

BUT 

shows favor to the humble."

James 4:6

Thank God for more grace. When we humble ourselves and realize that we are nothing with out God's presence in our life he gives more grace. LESS is MORE - the less we think of our selves the MORE God can do with us. 

BUT...each person is tempted (James 1:13-15)

When tempted, no one should say,

“God is tempting me.”

For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; BUT each person is tempted when

they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed .

Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin...

James 1:13-15a

It's funny to me how we don't want to take responsibility for when things go wrong in our life. Thoughts often come up like "why is God allowing this?' well in these verses it clearly explains ; we let our desires control  us  and before we know it we are trapped and want to blame God.

BUT... if you look carefully into the perfect law (James1:25)

BUT... if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and you do what it says and don't forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

James 1:25
You may ask "What is the perfect law" it is very simple.... Love God with your whole heart and treats others how you would like to be treated. Are you doing that today? Then expect a blessing today!

BUT... the fruit of the Spirit is (James 5:22-23)

  But...

 the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control.

 Against such things there is no law.

James 5:22-23
Fall is harvest time! For farmers this is a time they can see the results of their labor. How about you today? What results do you see from the summer you have had? Now is the time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

BUT... when you ask Him (James 1:5)

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God,
and He will give it to you...

BUT... when you ask HIM
make sure that your faith is in
God alone.

James 1:5
God wants us to come before Him and give Him our desires.
 He is most please when we ask for His wisdom. 

BUT... don't just listen to God's word (James 1:22)

BUT...don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Other wise you are only fooling yourselves.

James 1:22
To often we sit and listen to God's word and we don't think it applies to us or we say well I am not perfect, I try my best.
 BUT... be careful not to fool yourself ....with God's strength we must do what it says.

BUT... He gives us more grace (James 4:6)

BUT…

He gives us more grace.

That is why Scripture says:

Are you in control of your life? Do you often make plans without even seeking God? I choose to remember that God is in control. Yes I look to the future with hope BUT that is because God knows what is best. Stop for a moment and humbly seek God and ask Him to take control. With that control comes more grace and peace for YOU!
