BUT in the course of years (Matt 13:30)

Another story. “God’s kingdom is like a pine nut 
that a farmer plants. 
It is quite small as seeds go,

BUT...

 in the course of years it grows into a huge pine tree,
 and eagles build nests in it.”

Matthew 13:30-31 MSG

Are you feeling small today? Remember God uses little things to do great things for Him.

BUT... you shall meditate in it day and night (Joshua1:8)

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,

BUT you shall meditate in it day and night,

 that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.

For then you will make your way prosperous,

 and then you will have good success.

Joshua 1:8

You see when we read God's word and think about it through out the day and do what we are lead to do THEN we can't help BUT be successful. Unfortunately we want to think of ourselves through out the day, do what we are lead to do and then wonder why God is not blessing us.

BUT... when the desire is fulfilled (Proverbs 13:12)

Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
BUT when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.

Proverbs 13:12

Have you been hoping or desiring for something for a long time? I know the wait seems unbearable BUT know that if this is part of God’s plan He has a purpose in the waiting and when this desire is fulfilled oh it won’t be just a quick satisfaction BUT a Joy that blossoms for a life time. 

BUT... the wicked stumble (Proverbs 24:16)

For though the righteous fall seven times,
they rise again,

BUT...the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

Proverbs 24:16  (NIV)

 If you are going through hard times . RISE UP. Don't worry about the wicked around you
God will take care of them.
It is not our place to judge or condemn them take that energy and Rise up to your best.

BUT... also for those who believe in ME (John 17:20-21)

I pray not only for these,

BUT…also for those who believe in Me through their message.

May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You.

May they also be one in Us, so the world may believe You sent Me

This was Jesus pray to the Father. He prayed for you and me and others who believe through the message we share.  The number one way others will believe is by watching how well we get along. When I taught children I told them to have JOY you need to put

Others next

Yourself last.

The path of the lazy is like a hedge of thorns…

My son is currently in college and for a while seemed to go through a lazy spell. Just looking at his room reminded me of a hedge of thorns, you couldn't walk without stepping on something. He was always losing his keys and wallet. Thank God He has come out of it and now when he needs something or wants to go somewhere he has a clear road.
